Our first night out

We are excited to announce that after a lot of hard work behind the scenes, ACT Street Angels had our first night out patrolling the streets of Accrington last night (28th October 2023), thank you to all the volunteers who gave their time last night. We would also like to thank all the members of the public who interacted and engaged with us last night, we had such a positive engagment from from the local punters, pubs, shops, takeaways, taxi firms and local authorities.

Our volunteers were out from 10pm to 2am patrolling the streets of Accrington, we gave out 1 pair of flip flops, picked up broken glass and trash, 1 ambulance and 1 police team were stood down as we took over, and countless lollipops handed out. We are hoping to get out more in the community on friday and saturdays, but in order to do this we need more volunteers.
