Roles

ACT Street Angels operates both on the streets and in the hub. We have roles to suit our volunteers needs. Please find below some information regarding the roles. If you would like to know more don't hesitate to contact us.

Street role Hub Role

The Street Role involves teams of 3-5 going out on the streets of Accrington and helping vulnerable people. This may involve but is not limited to being a listening ear, reporting crimes to the police that you see happening, helping people get home safely, and administering basic first aid.

The Hub role involves being stationed at our base, this is where vulnerable people may be helped. The role will involve but is not limited to, giving out coffee and refreshments, being a listening ear, helping people get home from the base, giving out items and keeping the hub clean and a safe place
